In "THEY MECHANIZED THE WORLD," the piece explores how the onset of Imperialism and colonial ambitions not only changed how people perceive time but also their relationship with everything. Communities that once lived in a nature-oriented system had that very system torn down, erased, but secretly emulated and rebranded as " modern technology."
